Somethingz About Me

Hi... my name is Barb

I am an Aussie living in a rural city, the name of which means "place of many crows"

Like so many of my friends who now have blogs, I thought that I could never be bothered about having one.....I can't even make a shopping list..let alone keep a diary or journal....but how things change eh?.....LOL

So, here I am, finally having given in to the cajoling of my arty friends .....I can only hope I can keep posting regular and interesting tid-bits about my creative self.
My muse takes me to several areas of the arty playing field but my passion is in ATCs and mixed media Art Dolls, and my humour is of the whacky type..as you will no doubt discover as time passes....vbg.

Here's an altered shipping tag I made for a swap earlier this year. I used Ranger Distress Ink on the background, added a strip of torn magazine paper, treated with BriteShine,a strip of sheet music, Kaiser Rub-ons and a crow image.

Thank you for finding time to spend here and I hope you enjoy travelling this learning curve with me.....

How exciting that you have a blog, I'll add you to my list so I can keep up to date with your goings on. Can't wait to meet you at the retreat in March.

Thanx to you all for looking and commenting...I am still a very raw blogger...and a slow learner of techo things so practice, practice, practise is what I need...vbg

Dearest sister;you go girl,go!!!
I am so proud of your growing prowess in cyberspace, not to mention your beautiful art work. And to the patient and gifted Bevlea, who may be reading this, I love you too and appreciate your considerable efforts wih Barb, especially 'coz sooner or later I expect her to teach me the techno-tricks too. LOL.
Love Lorraine [Some of you may know me as Camp-Commandant, thanks to Bevlea...Personally, I think I am more of a Princess].

Dearest sister....what wonderful comments you made!...I would not where I am in cyberspace if it weren't for Bevlea...but don't tell her that 'cos her head will get too big!...roflmao!

BTW... you will have a blog after I leave your place next time!

Sister, sister; what on earth will I do with a blog? My butt will get even flatter if I have yet another excuse to log-on!!.... vbg.
And since you know I'm no artist, but have great admiration for the artist's work already posted here, then I will remain just a "looker". [No pun intended]. But good luck with me anyway.
